Tablet PC is a portable computer that is different from the Laptop and the Desktop computer. It is a fully functional laptop PC. It runs all the business applications like Word, Excel, Power point and provides the high speed internet connectivity. It has a LCD screen on which user can write with a special purpose digital pen. It allows the users to take notes by the natural handwriting. The handwriting can be modified and shared via the cell phone or emails.
The handwriting is digitized and can be converted into the text. Tablet PC has also has the keyboard and mouse for the input. There is a digitizer over or under the LCD screen to create an electromagnetic field that can capture the movement of the digital pen and records it on the LCD screen.
The LCD screen only receives the information from the specialized digitized pen. A tablet PC has three common formats i.e. convertible model with the integrated keyboard, a slate style with a removable keyboard and a rugged model.
