Introduction to Desktop Computer

Desktop computer refers to the personal computer and it is most widely used computer in the home and offices. It comes in different styles like the large vertical tower case, desktop case and small form factor models that come with the LCD monitor.  The term desktop refers to the horizontal case and the monitor is usually placed on the top of it.   It has the advantage over the laptop because of the easily availability of the spare parts, lower prices and the greater availability.

Before making a purchasing decision, you need to take into account certain things like the upgradeability, warranty, after sales support, wireless connectivity, processor speed, hard disk capacity, RAM, Processor, optical drives, accessories, operating system and others.  The average price of it ranges from $ 500 to $ 1500.
