Daughter Board

A daughterboard is a circuit board that is meant to be an extension to the motherboard.  It extends the circuitry of the motherboard.  The circuit board can be computer’s motherboard, any card or any other circuit board in the computer and the daughterboard can be attached with any of the boards and extends its functionalities.  It has the internal connections with the computer and they are usually fit on the top or parallel of the board.
